Carriage House

Several years after we finished Gioello del Mare, the clients purchased the lot next door. They came back to us with a wonderful wish list for a carriage house. This list included guest living quarters, an upscale garage for the owner's collections, and an exercise area. The garage would open to the outside for large-scale entertaining. The living area sports a very urban vibe with large arched windows and dark floors. Areas of paneling with a grey wash complement the strong horizontals in the space.
