Bayview Revisited
This house had been extensively "remuddled" midcentury. Its new owners wanted to bring it back into harmony with the wonderful old bayside community around it. The renovations included great attention to function, while reusing as much as of the existing spaces as possible. BTGA began by using shingle-style detailing to unify the house's architectural elements. We opened the spaces inside the house to each other, and to the outside views, and we knit the house into the landscape using porches, trellises and dormers.
